Most of the players in the current Indian team are married as they have become family men and love spending time with their wives an children. Moreover, while playing for the country, they also have to be aware that they are a father as well and take care of their children. The whole world is celebrating Father’s day today and the dashing Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has thanked his father on the special occasion for always being there for him with a heart whelming message.

Shikhar himself is a father and is realizing all the things which his father taught him when was a kid. The special day is dedicated for them in order to celebrate fatherhood, paternal bonds and their influence on society. Dhawan recalled all the learnings he received from his doting father in his childhood and admitted that those were only for his good as he is now teaching the same to his son Zoraver.

He posted his picture with his father and son on Twitter captioned it with a message which read, “Thanks papa hamesha mere saath khadey hone ke liye life mein. Aur jo aapne manners, kaise seva karna sikhaya aapne bachpan mein , hasta hoon mann mein ki us waqt woh cheez kitni boring lagti karna. Par wohi cheez main aaj apne bachon ko sikhata hoon.Happy Father’s Day.” He also posted a picture with his all the three children while enjoying the time with them.

What next for Gabbar?

Shikhar Dhawan is currently gearing up for the upcoming tour of the United Kingdom where he will have a crucial role to play for India across all formats. While his prowess in the limited overs format is well known to everyone, his form in the Tests overseas is a cause of concern for the team management. Team India will face England in the five-match Test series starting from August 1 and Dhawan’s heroics at the top are needed if they want to win the series historically.
