Shikhar Dhawan takes up the ‘Break The Beard’ Challenge
He took this challenge following his Indian teammate Ravindra Jadeja.

Indian players are great entertainers both on and off the field. Be it their styling sense, outfits or the hairstyles, their followers love to embrace each one of their’s trending look. Recently, Shikhar Dhawan or the ‘Gabbar’ of Indian cricket as he is often called as, was seen sporting a new look after he took up the Break The Beard challenge.
This takes us back to the previous edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), when the likes of Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and Gabbar himself were seen taking up this challenge. It was a trending challenge then, that these cricketers took in their bid to sport a new look before a new season.
Gabbar’s back with it again
It seems that Dhawan is not done enough with it as he is back again with the challenge. He took this challenge following his Indian teammate Ravindra Jadeja. The challenge essentially requires individuals to shave their beard partially or completely off and upload a short video of it on the social media platform along with a hashtag #BreakTheBeard.
Sporting a new look, Dhawan shaved a portion of his beard as he reckons this as the time to take it to the new level. The look was meant for his beloved fans who look intrigued to see their idol come up with new looks. It was before his second game for Hyderabad that Shikhar went for the new look. He shared a video via Twitter, tweeting: “Here is something new for my fans, from my fans! Time to take it to the
#NewLevel. Gabru ni bolda ohda swag bolda. Buraaahhhh #newlook #breakthebeard.”

Earlier, Dhawan began his new IPL season with a bang after he scored a handy knock in the first game against Rajasthan to script victory for his side. In the absence of Warner, the onus now rests on him to consistently provide him crucial flourish at the top so as to lay a foundation for a good total. So far, he has been successful with his exploits with the bat.
