The sports industry has come down to a halt since the Coronavirus outbreak. No cricket, no football and no other sports are being organized across the globe. There is no way of getting entertainment for the cricketers at the moment in India as PM Narendra Modi has announced a lockdown for 21 days.

Hence, they opted to come out and give answers to many questions of the fans. Earlier, Micthell McClenaghan and Dean Jones looked quite active on the social media platform and now Shreyas Iyer has also joined the bandwagon.

Shreyas Iyer, the 25-year-old batsman made his international debut back in 2017 for Team India. He took some time to come under the radar of the Indian selectors but now, he has successfully cemented his berth in the national team. The right-hander has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in the last six months.

And, he put a full stop surrounding the most debatable position– No.4 in the batting order. He played at his best in the recently concluded T20I and ODI series against New Zealand. So far, he has mustered a total of 1165 runs across all the formats.

Shreyas Iyer will be captaining Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020

Recently, he shared a post saying that he had never done a question and answer session on Twitter in the past. And, he felt that this is the best time to do so. As soon as this post cam under the radar of the fans, they came all guns blazing with a series of questions.

One of the fans questioned Sreyas Iyer about who is the funniest cricket in the Indian team. The fan took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Who is most funniest cricketer in Indian cricket team?#AskShreyas.”

The 25-year-old Indian cricketer gave a pleasing response to his follower and said the funniest character in the team is Yuzvendra Chahal. Iyer took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Haha that would be @yuzi_chahal.”

Shreyas Iyer’s latest assignment was to lead Delhi Capitals in Indian Premier League 2020. However, BCCI postponed the tournament to mid-April. But there are still doubts over its commencement looking forward to the current condition due to COVID-19 pandemic.
