In the ongoing Test match between India and South Africa, Cheteshwar Pujara took 54 balls to get off the mark. While it is quite normal for those who are familiar with Pujara’s batting, some of the viewers got confused as to why his score wasn’t getting updated.

As a result, they charged into the broadcasters office and created a scene. The broadcasters on the other hand felt it was Karni Sena since one of their employees had a ‘Ghoomar’ ringtone activated. The matter was resolved soon as the protesters slept while being shown a highlight of Pujara’s 500 plus ball inning.

One of the protesters remarked, “I was hungry so went out to eat food, came back, spoke to my girlfriend for hours. And when I came back home, Pujara was still batting on zero. I’ve paid a fortune for a subscription and now they won’t even score runs.”

Shah Rukh Khan sets Twitter ablaze

On the other hand, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan acknowledged it on Twitter. He promoted his upcoming new movie Zero for the duration Pujara batted on none. However, once the batsman got off the mark, SRK retracted all his tweets. When asked, he told that it was his nephew. Suresh Raina may soon file copyright claims.

SH*T News sources also heard that there were celebrations after Pujara’s first run. His quick single was followed by a huge roar in his hometown at Saurashtra. Various sweets were distributed on the occasion. The kids danced on the street as the valuable achievement was celebrated with great pomp.

Broadcasters have henceforth decided to display a statutory warning while Pujara is batting. We tried to contact Pujara but since he was batting, Rohit Sharma answered the phone. When asked what he felt about being dropped, the phone got disconnected. At least, that’s what we feel.
