Siddarth Kaul's congratulatory message for Rashid Khan is winning the internet

Rashid Khan continued to torment Bangladesh in the ongoing three-match T20 International series and won yet another Man of the Match award. Afghanistan bagged the contest with one match to go and have once again proved themselves in the shortest format of the game. The magical leggie now has 7 wickets after two matches and is climbing the ladder of success ever so fast. However, his Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate Siddarth Kaul is in awe of his performance and has congratulated him with a special message on Twitter.

Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium was jam-packed much like it was for the opening game of the series and the home team didn’t leave any stone unturned to make the crowd happy. Bangladesh was in a must-win situation and approached the game cautiously. Their senior player Tamim Iqbal batted safely and made sure that there were no hiccups as they were set to unleash in the last 5 overs with wickets in hand.

Rashid wrecks havoc

But the pressure was built from the other end by other spinners as well and the batsmen had no option but to go for runs against Rashid Khan. The wily leg-spinner killed all the hopes of the visitors by scalping big wickets of Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mosaddek Hossain in the 16th over. There was no question of him going for runs and ended his spell conceding only 12 runs while picking 4 wickets.

Siddarth Kaul was delighted to see his teammate continuing his form from the T20 League to the International level. Both shared the same dressing room in the recently concluded cash-rich tournament for the Sunrisers Hyderabad and had played a crucial role in the team’s run to the final.

Kaul came up with a congratulatory message for Rashid and Afghanistan team on Twitter which read, “His name is Khan and he is an absolute champion. Congratulations bro @rashidkhan_19 for another man of the match award. You are making it a habit and shout out to @ACBofficials for bagging the series with one game to go. #AFGvBAN.”
