On June 10, BCCI announced India’s squad for limited-over series that would be played in Sri Lanka against the home side. Ace opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan was made the skipper of the side that will tour the island nation. While the tour had many unexpected call-ups, it looked like some expected names didn’t get the call. SRH pacer Siddharth Kaul feels that he got unlucky after not being named in the upcoming series.

Kaul recently reacted to the snub by posting a picture on his official Twitter handle. He added that he has failed again and again in life and that is how he gains success. He stated that by putting a smile on his face, he will keep on moving the road of hard work and passion.

“I have failed over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed. And when I fail I have the smile on my face which motivates me work even harder,” Kaul tweeted after the squads got announced.
