2. Kusal Perera – Sanath Jayasuriya
Sanath Jayasuriya was one of the important members who helped Sri Lanka ascend in international cricket. Although his role in the side was not defined early on in his career, he took the world by storm in 1996. Since then, Jayasuriya never ended a calendar year with a strike rate of less than 83 and more often than not, it was exceeding 100. This stat is a testimony to show how aggressive a player he was.
Kusal Perera also is a fearless, audacious and a turbo-aggressive player. Right from the first ever time he has taken on the field, he kept the fans reminiscing about the legendary Sanath Jayasuriya. Kusal never likes to take the backfoot and always tries to attack the opposition. He scores at a good strike rate and his strokeplay is very similar to that of Jayasuriya.
