New Zealand and India will be locking horns in the first One Day International at the Eden Park in Auckland on Friday, November 25. Ahead of the exciting three-match series, its official live streaming partner Amazon Prime Video has come up with a hilarious promo.

It's a fun revenge promo and has been made to generate interest in cricket fans in the buildup to what is being viewed as a high-octane series especially with it being broadcast in the early morning slot in India.

Harsha Bhogle and Kane Williamson play lead in the promo

In the newly launched promo, veteran broadcaster Harsha Bhogle treats New Zealand skipper to a three-course meal. All the meals are spicy and chilly and after tasting each of them, Williamson hilariously enough for viewers is seen struggling a lot.

The video starts with both Harsha and Kane greeting each other after which the former says, “I’ve got a treat for you from the Indian fans. An authentic three course meal."

He then presents the opener (starter) Chicken Tikka and Kane has a tough time after having it. As the BlackCaps skipper is seen sweating Bhogle mentions that it is for knocking India out of the 2019 World Cup from the semis.

The versatile commentator then presents the Momos in Naga Sauce. Williamson once again feels the heat after eating it and Harsha mentions that it is for defeating the Indian team in the ICC World Test Championship final in 2021.

The final course of the meal is then presented ‘The Humble Vindaloo’. Kane Williamson once again struggles after having one spoon of the dish. Harsha then tells him that it is for beating the Men in Blue in the last year’s T20 World Cup in the UAE.

“I didn’t know winning could hurt so much,” a sweating Williamson said.

At the end of the video, a plate of rasagulla and jalebi is served as dessert and Williamson hilariously says it was ordered by him and was much needed after the respective T20 World Cup 2022 campaigns of both sides saw them crash out in the semis.

“I ordered that. After this year’s T20 World Cup I thought we both needed something sweet,” he said.
