Virat Kohli seems to be in the perfect frame of mind ahead of India’s tour of Bangladesh next month. He has been given a well-deserved rest after the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia and is not a part of the ongoing white-ball series against New Zealand.

However, the break has not stopped Kohli from carrying out his daily routine as he was seen sweating it out in the gym to keep himself fit for the Bangladesh bilateral series and a hectic cricketing schedule ahead.

In a video shared by the batting megastar on his official Instagram account, Kohli was seen in an intense workout session where he could be see running on the treadmill and doing a lat pulldown.

What stood out in the video was that Kohli’s lat pulldown session has a striking resemblance to popular Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone’s intense workout session in the Rocky series. The background music of this video ‘Saga Rocky’ makes the gym session even more inspirational.

Kohli, who was not in his best form a while, has rediscovered his mojo in the last couple of months. He finished as the second-highest run-getter in Asia Cup 2022 scoring 276 runs from five innings, including a century against Afghanistan. The century happened to be his 71st in international cricket and first-ever in T20Is.

Then, the batting icon finished as the highest run-getter of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, having amassed 296 runs from six matches including four half-centuries. He would be hoping to get past Australia's two-time World Cup winner Ricky Ponting's tally in the upcoming Bangladesh series by registering his 72nd international 100.

India will be visiting Bangladesh for three One Day Internationals and two Tests between December 4 to December 26.
