The torrential rains disrupted daily life in the city, leading to widespread flooding and forcing people to stay indoors. The natural calamity has occurred due to Cyclone Michaung and it is expected to make landfall close to Bapatla in south Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, December 5.
Warner, who is known for his love and affection for India, took to his official social media account to express his concern for the situation. He shared a video showcasing the capital city of Tamil Nadu's floods and the ongoing rescue efforts. The 37-year-old urged everyone to prioritise their safety, advising them to "seek higher ground if necessary." The Australian cricketer's gesture highlights his commitment to supporting and empathizing with those affected by natural calamities.
