Team Scotland shocked everyone as they registered a memorable victory over West Indies in both teams' tournament opener of the 2022 T20 World Cup played at Hobart on October 17 (Monday).

Batter George Munsey and the left-arm spinner Mark Watt were the heroes for the Scottish side as they performed extremely well in their respective departments and helped the side to move ahead in the competition.

Mark Watt's hilarious tweet about the note

To note, the match got delayed due to rain, but no overs were reduced from the match. Meanwhile, Watt who bowled extremely well in the second innings of the match, was seen carrying a note during the West Indies chase. Many people thought that Watt is carrying a DLS comparison sheet between both teams as the chances of rain were quite high.

However, the left-arm spinner has now revealed what was written in the paper. He shared a photo on his official Twitter handle to reveal the secret.

Meanwhile, Scotland registered their first victory in the tournament and they will now take on Ireland in their next encounter. Scotland's skipper Richie Berrington also expressed his satisfaction over their victory against West Indies.

"It's a special win for us. Lot of hard work has been put in for this in the last one year. Extremely proud of the boys. We haven't had as much as T20 cricket as we would have liked (Scotland played only 2 T20Is between World Cups). But we played a lot of 50 over cricket, so it was important we transferred that skill to T20 cricket," Berrington said during the post-match presentation.

"We were looking at a few more after the start we got off to. But we knew this was a competitive score. The bowlers were exceptional. Mark Watt was exceptional, in the powerplay and he generally takes big wickets. Leask today was excellent four overs on the trot," he added.
