Hardik Pandya shares workout routine amidst recovery process

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, sidelined since sustaining an ankle injury during the 2023 World Cup clash against Bangladesh, delayed his return for the T20I series against Afghanistan due to extended recovery. Now eyeing IPL 2024, where he'll lead Mumbai Indians, Pandya recently shared his workout regimen on social media amidst his ongoing rehabilitation. His return to the 22 yards promises to add vigour to both Mumbai Indians and the IPL spectacle.

Amidst India's 1st Test match against England in Hyderabad, all-rounder Hardik Pandya showcased his bowling prowess in the nets. The dynamic cricketer bowled at full throttle, igniting excitement among fans with his white-ball magic. Pandya, updating his return to competitive cricket, garnered immense attention on social media. Adding to the buzz, He is set to captain Mumbai Indians (MI) in the upcoming 2024 IPL edition, further elevating anticipation among his fans.

"I'm feeling very good after coming back here. I treat (this ground) as a temple, because the amount of things I've learnt on this ground, it's like a temple for me. What it has taught me is priceless. My journey started literally 17 years back on this very ground. I will make sure everything possible today, and every day," Hardik had said as quoted by Hindustan Times. 

Hardik Pandya set to hold Mumbai Indians reigns 

Returning from an ankle injury, The Baroda batter's trade to Mumbai Indians from Gujarat Titans for the 2024 IPL season was sealed in an all-cash transaction. Following the acquisition, he was named as Rohit Sharma's successor in Mumbai's leadership realm. Pandya, previously Rohit’s deputy during the 2023 ODI World Cup, led Gujarat Titans to IPL glory in their inaugural season. The 30-year-old stalwart boasts 123 appearances in the cash-rich league, amassing over 2,300 runs and claiming 53 wickets.
