On Day 2 of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India skipper Rohit Sharma lost his cool and screamed at a fan, who was creating trouble for him in the sight screen area. Notably, the incident happened in the sixth over of India’s innings when spin wizard Nathan Lyon was bowling.

Looking at the same, Sharma screamed at that person by saying, ‘Hata Usko’ (remove him). He said this while taking a single and also pointed it out to the umpire before signalling the person to get out of the way. Notably this was not the only incident which happened during the Test match.

The ball had got lost in the process and that is when he jumped in to look for the ball and waved in happiness while throwing back the ball into the field of play.

Australia in driver’s seat after Day 2 of the fourth Test

Courtesy of a brilliant partnership between Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green, Australia are in a comfortable position after Day 2 of the fourth Test. 36-year-old Khawaja on Friday, March 10 became the fourth Australian opener to score 150+ runs in a Test innings in India and based on his marathon knock of 180 runs, Australia posted 480 runs on board.

Youngster Cameron Green was sensational as well. The 23-year-old paced his innings well, scoring 114 off 170 deliveries. He was getting good starts in his red-ball career but wasn’t successful in converting those into a big total. However, on Friday, he played a mature knock, bringing up his maiden Test century.

When it comes to the Indian bowlers, veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was once again phenomenal, picking up six wickets in the process. The 36-year-old couldn’t create an instant impact with the ball but did the damage eventually. Meanwhile, ace pacer Mohammad Shami picked up two wickets while the rest of the bowlers looked pale.

Playing in their home condition, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel couldn’t impress with the ball and it a long time for Umesh Yadav to find the rhythm. Meanwhile, openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill got a perfect start and the team would hope that they can take the play well on Day 3 to help India reinstate their position in the match.
