India's flamboyant batter Suryakumar Yadav on Thursday, November 17 took to Instagram to pen down an adorable birthday caption for his wife, Devisha Shetty. The 32-year-old shared a picture with his wife and heaped praise on her and thanked her for motivating him and being the problem solver in his life.

Yadav, who’s currently in New Zealand for a three-match T20I and ODI series, also added the song ‘Tu Aake Dekhle’ by King to add flair to the post.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful wife. The centre of my universe, the solver of all my problems, the one that keeps me motivated, focused, and grounded. I truly don’t know what I’d do without you. Here’s celebrating the biggest blessing that was sent my way,” Yadav captioned the post.

The couple first met in 2012 during their college days and eventually got married on July 7, 2016, in a gala ceremony, which was attended by a lot of renowned personalities.

Suryakumar was magnificent with the bat while batting in the middle order during India's recently culminated T20 World Cup campaign and capitalised on his rich vein of form. He amassed a total of 239 runs in just six innings at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 189.68.

What stood out about his batting was the fact that he scored all his runs at a spectacular average of 59.75. He scored three half-centuries during the T20 carnival and looked in menacing touch everytime he got on a roll.

He received a lot of praise from a bunch of former cricketers. Former Pakistan cricketers Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Misbah-ul-Haq lavished praise on the India's batting star while appearing on the YouTube channel A Sports' show 'The Pavilion'. Suryakumar couldn't get going in India's semi-final clash against the eventual champions England and was dismissed by Adil Rashid as the former tried to break the shackles.
