ODI World Cup 2023: India vs Australia, Final - Bollywood Celebrities' Reactions

India faced a heartbreaking loss at the hands of Australia in the ODI World Cup 2023 Final at Narendra Modi Stadium. The Sunday which was expected to end in celebration dealt a bad hand to all India fans who were left dejected by the end of it all. 

The Pat Cummins-led side totally outclassed the Men in Blue in front of 1,25,000 on the back of their all-round cricket. India, having lost the toss were invited to put runs on the board, and could only manage 240 runs. Cummins led from the front and subjected India to their lowest total in this year's tournament. 

India would have hoped to give a tough challenge to Australia in the second inning but a resurgent Travis Head found the clash too easy for his liking as he dominated all Indian bowlers be it pacers or spinners. In the end, Australia added another feather to their extensive cap winning the World Cup for the sixth time in history. 

While there was a huge disappointment all around after the match, players and fans picked themselves up and consoled at the end of what was an incredible event. Bollywood celebrities were also not behind in consoling the team and fans. Actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonu Sood, Dia Mirza and others took to X (formerly Twitter) to lift team spirits after heartbreaking loss.
