Thala for a reason: Sunil Gavaskar

Gavaskar spoke highly about the 42-year-old cricketer and explained why Dhoni is termed as 'Thala for a reason',

“That is why we say Thala for a reason. In IPL you have different players from different teams. Your main focus in the IPl is to win the trophy and for that, you have to keep some of the best players out at times, but you can't make them feel useless, you have to tell them how important their contributions are. and no one does it better than MS Dhoni. Hence, Thala for a reason” added Gavaskar.
