Team India managed to run through the Australian batting order in the morning session of the second day of the Indore Test. However, it was more of the same in the Indian innings as Nathan Lyon grabbed another five-for to halt the Indian charge. With the Indian batters failing to cope with the prodigious spin on offer for the Australian bowlers, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma indulged in an animated chat with Ishan Kishan in the dressing room, gesturing the Indian batters to be more aggressive in the middle.
Rohit Sharma, who failed for a second successive time in the Test match, was seen telling Ishan Kishan to be more aggressive in the middle as it was near impossible to survive just defending deliveries on the rank turner. Kishan walked onto the field with drinks, relaying the Indian skipper's message to Cheteshwar Pujara and Axar Patel in the middle.
The Indian skipper's message was heard loud and clear by the batters in the middle as Pujara launched Nathan Lyon for a huge maximum in the very next over, bringing out a smile on his skipper's face. The Indian bulwark waged a lone war with the bat as wickets kept tumbling from the other end. However, his defiance was ended after stand-in Australian skipper Steve Smith grabbed a stunning catch to dismiss the half-centurion.
