Meanwhile, a few days ago, Virat along with his wife, Anushka Sharma paid a visit to Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Temple to offer their prayers. Ahead of that, the power couple also visited Rishikesh and Baba Neem Karoli’s ashram in Vrindavan.

India’s World Test Championship qualification at stake

With two back-to-back wins in the first and second Test, India bagged the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy but their qualification for the final of the World Test Championship is still not confirmed. With Australia bouncing back in the third Test at Indore, the Rohit Sharma-led side now needs to win the fourth Test at Ahmedabad to seal their spot.

Meanwhile, following harsh criticism of the Indore pitch, one can expect a better wicket in the fourth and final Test of the series. The Indian batters struggled massively in the third match and failed to establish their authority. In the first innings, they were bundled out for only 109 runs while in the second innings, the team could post only 163 runs.

Other than Cheteshwar Pujara, no other batter looked comfortable in the middle and that’s a massive concern for the team going forward. Players like Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer are getting the much-needed starts but aren’t being able to convert them. When it comes to KS Bharat,  the stumper-batter is yet to prove himself with the bat on the international stage. Thus, the problems are plenty for the Indian team at the moment and they need to work on a lot of things, in order to secure a victory in the fourth Test of the series.
