During the ongoing third Test between India and England at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, veteran English cricketer James Anderson took a jibe at Ravindra Jadeja as the Indian all-rounder completed a magnificent century and brought out his signature sword celebration.

A ball after Sarfaraz Khan's run-out, Jadeja brought up his fourth Test century and then came up with his sword celebration. Even though the celebration seemed a bit subdued due to the run-out incident, he nonetheless continued with the ritual for which he was seemingly mocked by James Anderson. The veteran England pacer and Jadeja even seemed to have exchanged a few words after the batter's celebration.

'Little miscommunication' - Sarfaraz Khan on his run-out dismissal

Jadeja's innings of 112 runs proved vital for India as posted a competitive 445 against the visitors. However, Sarfaraz's run-out left many including Jadeja himself disappointed. During the press conference after stumps on Day 1, when Sarfaraz was asked about the misunderstanding that led to his dismissal, he said that such instances are just a part and parcel of the game.

"There was a little miscommunication. This is part of the game. Sometimes there is a run-out, sometimes there is a run and sometimes there is not. So all this goes on. He (Jadeja) said that there was a little miscommunication. And I said was that it is okay, it happens. There is nothing big in it," said Sarfaraz.
