The second ODI between India and New Zealand hosted in Raipur witnessed a hilarious moment when Indian skipper Rohit Sharma forgot what he had to do after winning the toss. The flamboyant Indian opener eventually recollected his thoughts and opted to field first in the contest. The two teams are coming into the clash from Hyderabad after playing out a last-over thriller, which was won by the home side.

At toss time in the second ODI, Rohit stood confused about what he and the management had decided to do. He thought for a while before choosing to bowl as broadcaster Ravi Shastri, Kiwi skipper Tom Latham and match referee Javagal Srinath waited for his decision.

"I forgot what we wanted to do, had plenty of discussions with the team about the toss decision, just wanted to challenge ourselves under difficult conditions, but we'll bowl first," the Indian skipper said with a cheeky smile on his face.

"[The first ODI] was a good test for us, knowing that the wicket will get better to bat on and that was the challenge in front of us. Bracewell batted well, but we bowled well in the end and won the game. There was a bit of dew during the practice sessions, but we've heard from the curator that it will not play a role on game days. We batted first in Hyderabad, we wanted to bowl first here, same team," he added.
