The all-rounders led their respective franchises, Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 51st match of the ongoing IPL at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, May 7. Notably, the match was won by the team led by younger brother Hardik.
Krunal, LSG's stand-in skipper, won the toss and invited GT to bat first. The defending champions posted a 227, thanks to half-centuries from Wriddhiman Saha (81) and Shubman Gill (94). The GT bowlers' excellent efforts enabled them to restrict LSG by 171 runs and helped them to register a massive 56-run win.
Following the match, Hardik took to Twitter and shared a collage of two photos. The first one featured an old image from their childhood and the second picture was from the IPL match on Sunday.
"Just two young boys from Baroda who never gave up on their dreams,” he captioned the post.
