Batting icon AB de Villiers has decided to play it safely while predicting the winner of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final that will be played at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday, November 13 between former champions England and Pakistan.

De Villiers has urged the fans to decide who will come out on top in the summit clash. It so happened that earlier this week while predicting the winners of the semifinals, ‘Mr.360’ had picked India and New Zealand as the finalists with the Men in Blue emerging triumphant in the decider.

However, both teams crashed out in the semis and therefore, the former Proteas skipper does not wish to take any more chances as far as predictions are concerned.

Ok. Let’s have a look!: AB de Villiers

Taking to his official Twitter handle, AB de Villiers conducted a fan poll to predict the winner of the T20 World Cup final between England and Pakistan.

In another tweet, he did give his personal opinion stating that England have the man-to-man ability to add another major trophy in their cabinet. This was in reference to the depth in the English squad which includes great modern-day power-hitters combined with bowling all-rounders.

At the same time, AB de Villiers also mentioned that the team that shows a hunger to win on the day matters the most and they would eventually come out on top as champions.

Both teams are coming into this title clash on the back of convincing wins in their respective semifinal encounters. While Pakistan beat New Zealand by seven wickets, England demolished India by 10 wickets in a one-sided contest.

England and Pakistan are featuring in their third T20 World Cup final. The winner of this match will have the joint-most number of T20 world titles along with the West Indies who have won two (2012 and 2016).
