The 33rd match of the ongoing ODI World Cup is currently taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai where India and Sri Lanka are facing off each other. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first.

Before the start of the match, star Indian batter and former captain Virat Kohli was seen having a conversation with the legend of the game Sachin Tendulkar as they both hugged each other. This moment caught the attention of all the cricket fans around the world.

Virat has shown great form in the tournament and scored 388 runs at an average of 97 in the first six matches of the marquee event with one hundred and two half-centuries to his name.

Coming to the match, the Indian team suffered an early setback when their captain, Rohit Sharma, was dismissed on just the second ball of the first over. Dilshan Madushanka bowled a remarkable delivery that completely deceived Rohit, knocking his off-stump out of the ground.

Despite Kohli's continuous record-breaking performances, Tendulkar's legacy remains secure as the holder of the record for scoring the most runs in a calendar year. Tendulkar achieved a remarkable 1894 runs in 1998.
