The FIFA World Cup 2022 final has people buzzing and even celebrities are finding it difficult to distance themselves from the fever. India's former head coach Ravi Shastri has made his presence felt at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar which is the venue for the summit clash.

After a month-long intense tussle featuring 32 teams from across the globe the FIFA World Cup 2022 tournament has reached its crescendo with two-time world champions Argentina taking on the defending champions France at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar on Sunday, December 18.

Shastri put out a video on the micro-blogging site Twitter after he entered the stadium to mark his presence at the iconic venue. He captioned the video, "Lusail will erupt in an hour. A Messi wave coming into the stadium."

Shastri also put out a video post on his official Instagram account which featured him alongside Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. He captioned the post, "I don't know what to say...."

Both teams are evenly matched and France are also two-time world champions, having won the tournament in 1998 and in 2018. Argentina won the event back in 1978 and 1986. France defeated Croatia in the finals of 2018. They looked unstoppable in the semi-finals against Morocco as they won the contest by a 2-0 scoreline.

On the other hand, Argentina defeated last-time runners-up Croatia by a convincing scoreline of 3-0. Meanwhile, Croatia led by Luka Modrić defeated Morocco by 2-1 in the third-place playoff. Morocco, the African nation were phenomenal throughout the campaign as they became the first African country to qualify for the semis of the World Cup.

As far as the final is concerned, fans from across the world are rooting for Argentina more as they want Lionel Messi to win it for his nation and immortalise his legacy.
