Indian team skipper Rohit Sharma is preparing very hard for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. His recent images circulating on social media show the star batter has been sweating it out in the gym.
Sharma was spotted working out alongside his long-time friend and India's assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, as well as the former Indian cricketer, Dhawal Kulkarni. The hitman's rigorous training regimen becomes clear, considering India's packed cricket calendar. After leading the team to victory in the T20 World Cup earlier this year and participating in a bilateral series against Sri Lanka, Sharma is now focusing on the upcoming Test matches.
His partnership with Nayar, in particular, has been instrumental in shaping his approach to training. Their relationship dates back to 2011 when Nayar helped Sharma cope with his exclusion from the ODI World Cup squad. Since then, the duo has often been seen training together, with Nayar playing a key role in Sharma's physical and mental preparation. In addition to gym workouts, Sharma was seen performing crunches and various cardio exercises in outdoor settings.
