Sachin Tendulkar was known for thrashing the opponent every time he took the bat in his hands. His best, though, came against Pakistan. Cricket fans still remember his knock of 98 runs against the Men in Green at the Centurion in the 2003 edition of the ODI World Cup. His hook shot over third man off Shoaib Akhtar's speedy bouncer is still afresh in the minds of every true cricket fan.

Twenty years later, Sachin is still beating Shoaib, this time on 'X'. On Friday, October 13, the 'Rawalpindi Express' posted on the platform saying “History will repeat itself tomorrow” with a hashtag telling everyone to keep their cool. His post was indicating towards the clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera.

Speaking more of the clash, India defeated Pakistan to register a thumping win against Babar Azam's men by seven wickets and 117 balls to spare. Following the victory, Twitterati was quick to go and react in all comical ways possible on Akhtar's post, and the God of Cricket, too, was quick to respond, and gave a rather cheeky response this time round.

"My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha….😋," reposted Sachin on his 'X'.

Talking more about the game, the Pakistan team was forced to bat first on a dry surface at Motera. They did start well, but lost their momentum quickly, losing their eight wickets for just 36 runs after being 155/2 at one stage.

Chasing 192, the Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started off well, but the latter could not capitalise on the start he got. However, a blitzkrieg by skipper Sharma (86 off 63 balls) followed by a stable fifty by Shreyas Iyer (unbeaten 53 off 62 balls) ensured India did not have any further hiccups to reach 192. With the victory, the Indian team moved to the top of the points table with three wins in as many games they have played thus far.
