Team India are currently engaged in the second ODI of a three-match series against Australia. In the first innings, Ruturaj Gaikwad, the Indian opener, was dismissed early on. However, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer then formed an extraordinary partnership, accumulating 200 runs together. Both batters displayed remarkable performances, scoring thunderous centuries.
During their innings, the Indian batters showcased their dominance by hitting boundaries effortlessly, taking advantage of the short dimensions of the Holker Stadium in Indore. The longest boundary measured 69 meters straight, while the side boundaries were just 60 meters, enabling the batters to capitalize on the situation.
While walking in the middle, Suryakumar Yadav also didn't leave any chance to flaunt his class. Yadav smashed four consecutive sixes in the over of Cameron Green and he became the player to smash the most sixes in an over by an Indian against Australia in international cricket.

Earlier, the Australian team won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Holker Stadium, where the pitch looked quite ideal for batting and the short boundary dimensions made it even more favorable.
All of India's batters, except Ruturaj Gaikwad, took full advantage of the conditions. Iyer scored his century with 11 fours and three sixes, while Gill hit six fours and four sixes to reach a stunning ton. Captain KL Rahul also played well, scoring 52 off 38 balls with three fours and three sixes. Ishan Kishan also contributed with a quick cameo of 31 off 18 balls with two sixes and two fours.
Suryakumar provided the finishing touch for India, taking some time initially to settle in but then becoming unstoppable and scoring a quickfire 72* off 37 balls with six fours and six huge sixes. India finished their innings on 399, and Australia now have to chase a target of 400 to stay alive in the three-match ODI series.
Green took two wickets for Australia but conceded runs in excess of 10.00 in his ten-over quota. Despite the good batting conditions, this chase is going to be a tough ask for the Australian batters going forward.
