Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali apologized for his viral statement on Babar Azam during the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The 30-year-old still backs the Pakistan star batter despite experiencing dip in form in the last two seasons he has played.
The name Hasan Ali has been associated with Babar Azam for a long time, especially after his ‘King Karlega (The King will accomplish)' statement, which went viral on social media. Though this statement was made in support of the batter, there are plenty of fans who blame him for Babar’s sudden dip in form in the last two years. In fact, Hasan Ali said that if people think that it was a big mistake to utter the statement, then he would like to apologize for it, but would continue to back the world-class batter.
“If people think saying ‘King Kar Lega’ was a mistake, then I apologise to all fans, including Babar. He was the best, is the best, and will bounce back soon. Everyone goes through tough times,” Ali said during the post-match press conference of the match between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings.
