Sai Sudharsan leaned forward and played a delightful straight drive off Harshal Patel's bowling during the ongoing Indian Premier League game between the Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium. It was the eighth boundary scored by the hosts after being sent in to bat first by Pat Cummins.
Coming from around the wicket, Harshal bowled a slower delivery, which was also an overpitched one. Sudharsan leaned in and obliged to time the ball beautifully past the bowler for a scorching boundary. It was such a sweetly timed shot that neither Sudharsan nor his opening partner bothered to run.

Sudharsan missed out on his sixth IPL 2025 fifty by a couple of runs. The southpaw was dismissed by Zeeshan Ansari. An attempt to run the quick googly fine on the off-side resulted in Sudharsan edging the ball to Heinrich Klaasen.
Earlier in the evening, Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to field first. He announced that SRH were going in with an unchanged XI from their five-wicket victory against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk a few days back.
