A moment from game 52 of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 has been going viral. The clash between Afghanistan and Bangladesh took place at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent, on Tuesday, June 25, and the game began with the in-form Afghanistan coming in to bat first.
However, a moment involving Karim Janat and Rashid Khan from the 20th over of the first innings has caught the eye of the fans and social media. Tanzim Hasan Sakib came out to bowl the final over of the first innings, and on the third delivery, Rashid Khan got the leading edge, and as the ball was dropped in the off side, Rashid and Janat ran between the wickets.
However, as the Afghan skipper started running for the second run, it was denied by his partner, Janat. This saw Rashid Khan let out a furious reaction as he threw his bat towards his batting partner and even turned his back against him after the delivery.

Bangladesh require 116 runs to win
Speaking of the game, the first innings began with Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran propelling Afghanistan to a slow but a steady start. Gurbaz continued his brilliant form and scored 43 runs in 55 deliveries on a tricky wicket. On the other hand, Zadran made 18 runs in 29 deliveries.
Furthermore, Azmatullah Omarzai added 10 runs on the board, with Gulbadin Naib scoring four and Rashid Khan staying unbeaten on a score of 19 in 10 deliveries as the Afghans posted a total of 115 runs in the first innings.
As for Bangladesh, Rishad Hossain was the highest wicket taker for his side, with three wickets to his name. His spell proved to be crucial for his side in limiting Afghanistan, who looked in red-hot form. Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman took one wicket each as well.
