Australia registered a 43-run win over the Ben Stokes-led England during the dramatic Day 5 of the second Ashes Test at the Lord's Cricket Ground. The entire day was packed with action, which included a controversial dismissal of English wicketkeeper-batter Jonny Bairstow.

Bairstow was stumped by his Australian counterpart Alex Carey as he stepped out of his crease after dodging all-rounder Cameron Green's bouncer. Carey quickly flung the ball toward the stumps and managed to hit it. Notably, the entire Australian team appealed, and the third umpire ruled the English batter out, but the dismissal sparked a debate.

The Victoria Police have made a note of Bairstow's controversial dismissal on the final day of the second Test. The Victoria Police Department took to its official Instagram handle to thank Bairstow humorously, for reminding everyone of the dangers of stepping over the crease before being given the green light. Along with the post, the police department also listed the other similarities between cricket and sharing the road safely.

"Today, we'd like to thank Jonny Bairstow for reminding everyone about the dangers of stepping over the crease before you're given the green light," Victoria Police captioned the post.
