India legend Munaf Patel ruthlessly trolled former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar for the latter's social media post depicting Sachin Tendulkar. Akhtar shared the post on the eve of the high-octane ODI World Cup clash between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.
Akhtar posted a photo from an Asian Test Championship match in which he dismissed India batters Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar in the first innings in successive balls. Notably, Pakistan went on to win the match by 46 runs, courtesy of Saeed Anwar's 188-run knock in the second innings.
In the photo shared by Akhtar, he can be seen dismissing Tendulkar. “Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh,” he captioned the post, which translates as “keep calm if you want to do something similar tomorrow.”
The fans, however, were not pleased with the post, and Munaf stepped in and responded to the Rawalpindi Express in an appropriate way. The former Indian pacer posted a picture of Tendulkar delivering the famous uppercut to Akhtar during the 2003 World Cup match between the archrivals, resulting in a maximum. The India batter was seen looking suave as ever, while Akhtar was seen visibly helpless with his hands on his head after getting hit for a six. “Yaad dilao kya (Should I remind you?)” Patel captioned the post.

In addition, the 2003 World Cup match between India and Pakistan was played at Centurion, when Tendulkar scored a remarkable 98-run knock off just 75 balls. His match-winning effort helped India chase down the challenging 275-run target in just 45.4 overs.
Meanwhile, the high-profile match between India and Pakistan got underway in Ahmedabad. This was Pakistan and India's first meeting in India since 2016. In terms of the game, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first.
