Yuzvendra Chahal gives epic reply to Tabraiz Shamsi in hilarious exchange

Indian cricketer and veteran leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal shares a close friendship with Protean bowling ace Tabraiz Shamsi. They often exchange banter whenever they face each other on the field, however, the Indian leggie gave a hilarious reply to the South African cricketer when SA20 franchise Paarl Royals shared a video featuring Shamsi on Saturday.

Paarl Royals, one of the sister teams of the Rajasthan Royals franchise of the Indian Premier League, shared their jersey for the inaugural edition of the SA20, which commences on the 10th of January. Following the jersey reveal, the South African franchise shared a post featuring ace spinner Tabraiz Shamsi, who fired a warning shot at the Indian spinner.

"Hello Yuzi. This is the all-rounder from South Africa speaking. You will never ever ever bat ahead of me, ever," said Shamsi with a cheeky smile.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who is renowned for his sharp sense of humor, responded to the clip, compiling a savage reply saying, "What about your tummy my bru."

Paarl Royals will take on MI Cape Town in the season opener on January 10

The former no.1 T20I bowler in the world would be in action in the curtain raiser of the inaugural edition when the Paarl Royals take on the MI Cape Town at the Newlands on January 10. Shamsi will be sharing the dressing room with seasoned Protean cricketer David Miller, who will be leading the side in the inaugural edition of the SA20.

The team also features England's T20 World Cup-winning skipper Jos Buttler, along with former English skipper Eoin Morgan, who retired from international cricket last year. They were struck a huge blow on Friday after it was revealed that the Windies fast bowling sensation Obed McCoy would miss the inaugural season after sustaining an injury.
