India are currently playing a four-match Test series against Australia. The third match at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is currently underway and the visitors, captained by Virat Kohli, are in a pretty strong position with a lead of 435 runs. After India ended the first day on 215/2 in 89 overs, they didn’t let complacency sneak in and turned the screws on the Aussies on the second day.

Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara played out the entire pre-lunch session. Pujara went on to score his 17th Test century and countered the Aussie bowlers’ venom with grit and determination. Pat Cummins castled him to cut short his stupendous knock. Kohli, on the other hand, played brilliantly and he became speedster Mitchell Starc’s victim when he went for an upper-cut over the third man region.

Saiyami nails it with her analysis

Thereafter, Rohit Sharma churned out an unbeaten knock of 63 from 114 balls. Rishabh Pant and Ajinkya Rahane also chipped in with a couple of useful scores. Following Ravindra Jadeja’s dismissal, Kohli called his team back and India declared at 443/7, leaving six overs for their opponents to play out on the day. Meanwhile, Saiyami Kher, a Bollywood actress, made an analysis of the match early morning.

The actress, who made his Hindi movie debut with Mirzya in 2016, praised Pujara and a ‘different kind of’ Kohli. Moreover, she presumed that a score of around 420-430 would be a good one on a wicket where the bounce has been a tad indifferent.

She took to Twitter and wrote, “A rock solid century by #Pujara that’s anchored our innings & a great 82 of a different kind from #Kohli . When he goes past 50 one always assumes he’ll get a 100. The bounce is starting to get erratic. Is 420-430 a good 1st innings score? #INDvAUS,”

Her in-depth analysis of the match impressed Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian skipper and the current President of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB). He advised Saiyami to join the cricket field. He replied and wrote, “Have a career in cricket .. straight drives good as well …,”
