South Africa Test squad for Pakistan

The 21 man Test squad of South Africa looks like – Quinton De Kock (c), Temba Bavuma, Aiden Markram, Faf Du Plessis, Dean Elgar, Kagiso Rabada, Dwaine Pretorius, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Rassie Van der Dussen, Anrich Nortje, Wiaan Mulder, Lutho Sipamla, Hendricks, Kyle Verreynne, Sarel Erwee, Alviro Petersen, Tabraiz Shamsi, George Linde, Daryn Dupavillon, Sarah Baartman.

Pakistan would be keen to host South Africa on their soil as their higher officials stated earlier that they look forward to teams playing in their nation. It would be a great boost for fans there and let Pakistan cricket grow in times to come. Before hosting South Africa, men in green were up against New Zealand on their soil.

Both the nation locked horns in T20I and Test series where Pakistan had to face huge defeat against Kiwis. After losing the T20I series, some respectable performance was expected from Pakistan in the purest format, but they went on to put on a dismal show. After defeating them with a huge margin, Kiwis sealed the top slot in the ICC Test rankings. A lot of big names from the Pakistan cricket fraternity slammed the team for their poor show outside.
Now, it will be a thing to watch as to how they play against the Proteas team.
