South Africa name 30 probables squad for World Cup 2015: The Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Friday named its 30 members squad for the world cup 2015. As per the guidelines of the International Cricket Council for the mega event World Cup, boards need to declare a preliminary team of 30 members and then the final list of 15 players by January 2015.

The 15 will be those who will fly to Australia and New Zealand for the world cup 2015 representing South Africa. But, the doors don’t close after the probables of 30 are declared, players out of the 30 can also make it to the final 15.

AB de Villiers will lead the South African team in the world cup, the other major inclusions are star batsman Hashim Amla, key pacer Dale Steyn, Faf du Plessis, JP Duminy and Morne Morkel. This will also probably be the core of the team which will eventually make the Playing XI for South Africa. Other names include the likes of Rabada, Abbott, Chris Morris, Marchant de Lange, Shezi and Beuran Hendricks.

The spin department for South Africa in the World Cup will consist of Aaron Phangiso, Robin Peterson and Imran Tahir.

Other new and surprising inclusions are left arm medium fast bowler Mthokozisi Shezi,Andrew Puttick makes a surprising comeback.

The 30 members are: 

AB de Villiers (captain), Hashim Amla (vice-captain), Kyle Abbott, Farhaan Behardien, Quinton de Kock, Marchant de Lange, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Dean Elgar, Beuran Hendricks, Reeza Hendricks, Imran Tahir, Rory Kleinveldt, Ryan Mclaren, David Miller, Morne Morkel, Chris Morris, Justin Ontong, Wayne Parnell, Robin Peterson, Aaron Phangiso, Vernon Philander, Andrew Puttick, Kagiso Rabada, Rilee Rossouw, Mthokozisi Shezi, Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Morne van Wyk, David Wiese.
