Bangladesh will need to put on a huge effort to find any success away from home unlike the ease with which they got past oppositions in their own backyard and they learnt it with the Test series against South Africa where they couldn’t match the home side at any point. The Asian team can take the confidence of defeating the Saffers in their previous series and hope to get off the mark with a win against the home side.

Here we look at all the key stats ahead of the South Africa-Bangladesh ODI series.

90 – Soumya Sarkar’s 90 in the last ODI between the two sides in 2015 is the highest individual score for a Bangladesh player in ODI cricket against South Africa. In the previous game, Sarkar scored an unbeaten 88 which is the 2nd highest for a Bangladesh player against SA.
