With the panic around the Covid-19 situation in South Africa, the boards have agreed to reschedule the upcoming limited-overs series between South African women and West Indies women. Three T20 internationals and five One dayers were earlier slated to play between the teams, but now it has been reduced to just four ODI games. The limited-overs series was expected to act as a preparation for the upcoming women’s ODI World cup in the month of March in New Zealand.

The earlier schedule for the games was about to start by January 15th and end by February 6th, however, the rescheduled series will now start from January 28. West Indies women will get to play a warm-up game on January 25 against a South Africa XI and all the games are expected to be played without any fans in the stadium. This will be an important series for the West Indies women who have a score to settle from the previous series hammering.
