The famous Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera was a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise in 2013. He made his debut in the IPL in 2010 for Chennai Super Kings and after playing for Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Mumbai Indians, he was bought by SRH to fill in the vacant all-rounder slot.

Perera was the highest run-getter of the first match for SRH with 30 runs in 18 balls which included three fours and a six. With the ball, he also took two wickets giving away just 29 runs in four overs. He played a crucial part of the match-winning side.

In total, he played 37 IPL matches and has hit 422 runs with 31 wickets to his tally. This 32-year-old player played his last IPL match for Pune Supergiant in 2016. He recently retired from all the formats of international cricket, but he has been playing the other domestic leagues over the world.
