The Indian team is currently on the Sri Lanka tour, where it is playing a three-match ODI and a three-match T20I series. Many of the main players including captain Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are not featuring in this series, as they are on the England tour for the five-match Test series. This has opened up opportunities for a lot of new faces to showcase their talent at the international level.
