The currently planned blueprint targets nearly 700 million viewers during the entire league which is a huge number already.

We want to give the viewers the best experience ever

Considering the popularity and craze of the IPL, the broadcasters have made their mindset to re-imagine IPL in a way as never done before in the previous editions. Star aims to provide the viewers with the best sporting experience which is beyond their imagination at this pint. All the technical innovations are also kept in mind while preparing the whole plan.

“The decade-old Indian Premier League is one of the most loved sporting events in the country. At Star we want to re-imagine IPL to give our viewers a never before sporting experience,” said Sanjay Gupta, Star India Managing Director as quoted Inside sport.

The basic idea behind all these plans is to think of different ways of taking the experience of the viewers to the next level. The whole setup is actually a mixture of digital and television media to provide a wider coverage all over the world.

“By leveraging the combined reach of digital and television media through our ten channels in six different languages, we aim to reach out to 700 million fans across geographies. IPL is one of the most loved brands and at Star India, we are constantly thinking about ways to take the fans’ experience of IPL to the next level,” said a Star India release.
