Mohammed Shami is often regarded as the best limited-overs bowler of India given his record in ODI cricket where which he picked up 91 wickets in 49 games but he has failed to repeat his wicket-taking skill in the T20 format on various occasions.
Though his overall Twenty20 record of 65 wickets in 61 games at a strike-rate of 18.8 seems to be a decent one, more than half of his wickets in the format have been for his state team Bengal in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament.
