Steve Smith enjoys Australian Open with his love interest, ends up tagging wrong Dani Willis

Australian skipper Steve Smith has had a herculean run on the cricket field in the recent times. Barring the tough ODI series against England that the Australian team is currently going through, the Australian summer has been a delightful one for the Aussie fans. They won the coveted Ashes this season and thumped the English side 4-0. Smith, their leader, led from the front and scored 687 runs in the series with an average over 120.

Needless to concede, he is having a merry time with the bat. Off the field, Steve Smith has managed to balance out things pretty well as well. The young cricketer ensures that he gives enough time to his love interest Dani Willis. Recently, the lovely couple were seen attending the Australian Open. The premier tournament is one of the four major Tennis tournaments in the calendar year of the sport.

The excitement and the build up to the Australian Open this year has been immense as well. No wonder why Steve Smith could not resist the temptation of enjoying the action live from the venue. He shared an update on his official social media handle with a beautiful picture with his girlfriend. He mentioned that they take their tennis very seriously and love to follow the sport.

The tweet looked good, the picture was adorable, but still Smith ended up messing it big time. A blip from his end saw the fans troll him for his tweet. Funnily enough, the Australian captain ended up tagging the wrong profile of Dani Willis. He tagged a fake account and the fans were quick to cite that. Little did Smith know that his innocent blip will see him become a butt of a few jokes on the social media. Well, the social media does not forgive anyone.
