'Still unable to believe this' - Shikhar Dhawan saddened by Sushant Singh Rajput's demise

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death has sent shockwaves across the country. The actor, who was just 34 years old, was found dead in his Bandra home on Sunday afternoon by the Mumbai Police. The police reported that he had committed suicide. There have been reports which suggest that the actor was going through depression for the past six months.

This news prompted many celebrities to react and post their emotions on the internet. The social media got flooded as everyone started pouring in their wishes and tributes for the late actor. Shikhar Dhawan also posted an image of the actor on his official Instagram handle. He also added a caption through which he expressed his sadness.

In the caption of the image, he wrote, “Still unable to believe this. This is so, so sad. Thoughts and prayers to the family, friends and all the fans of Sushant. Rest in peace, God bless your soul.”

Sushant Singh Rajput played the role of MS Dhoni in the biopic movie of the cricketer in 2016. The movie was titled ‘MS Dhoni: The untold story’. It was one of his impressive performances other than some of his other movies. He also acted in another cricket orientated movie named, ‘Kai Po Che’. Interestingly, that was his debut movie in Bollywood.

The actor won several accolades for his performance in the biopic of MS Dhoni. He also made a lot of name for himself. The actor was a follower of cricket. He had publicly shown his interest in the sport.

After the news of his death came by, many cricketers such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina posted tweets and offered condolences to his family.

Kiran More who had trained him during the MS Dhoni’s biopic also commented on the matter. He said, “I am shocked! He was really hardworking. I have interacted with many actors but his willingness to put everything for the movie stood out for me. We trained for nine months and he was there every day training like a kid, putting his 100 percent to master the sport,” he told WION.
