The Auckland Aces and the Central Stags will face off for the second time in less than a week time that too at Eden Park Outer Oval in Auckland. The two sides faced off in the league fixture last week for hosting the Elimination Final to be played on Friday. The Aces and Stags will lock horns in the knockout final and the winner will join the defending champions Northern Knights in the final who finished at the top in the points table.
Colin Munro, who played a brilliant knock during the decider against India in the T20I series, will be part of the Auckland Aces squad. Munro had two brilliant games with both bat and ball in his last two Super Smash appearances. Blair Tickner of Central Stags made an impressive debut against India in the T20I series. He misses out due to an ankle injury he suffered during a training session. Josh Clarkson of Stags is also ruled out of this big game due to a torn muscle in his groin while bowling in the nets.
