Suresh Raina wishes Rohit Sharma with a heartwarming message

Rohit Sharma has been one of India’s most talented cricketers to have played the game, especially the limited-over formats where he has simply been phenomenal. He is the only cricketer in the world with as many as three double centuries against Sri Lanka and Australia respectively. The right-handed batsman used to be a tad inconsistent, but has gradually matured as his career has progressed.

He is currently leading the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where his team has struggled a wee bit. However, the skipper iterated the significance of playing fearless cricket and he displayed in the game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Mumbai-batsman played a match-winning hand and guided his team to glory without much fuss.

All is not over for Rohit and Mumbai

Mumbai have played seven games out of which they have won only a couple. Both their batsmen and bowlers have faltered at crunch moments of a game and as a result, they are languishing at the bottom of the table. However, despite the string of defeats, Mumbai are yet to drop the gun and is still a force to reckon with going ahead into the business end of the tournament.

Rohit Sharma’s form has also been a tad jittery as he has floundered in five of the seven games. Meanwhile, he also has played a couple of match-winning knocks against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and MS Dhoni’s men. The cricketer has turned 31 years today and wished have poured in for the pugnacious potential.

Suresh Raina, his Indian teammate and the middle-order batsman of CSK, has also wished him on the auspicious occasion. He took to Twitter and shared a heartwarming message for Rohit. Here is what he wrote
