The 16th game of the T10 league will be played between the Group B toppers Northern Warriors and the Sindhis, who ended at the bottom of Group A. Warriors started with a tough loss which can be blamed for their approach which was similar to that of T20 format. However, they bounced back by posting a record total of 183 in the next match. The promotion of Nicholas Pooran to top worked in the last game as well where they chased down 95 in the 9-over game with 11 balls to spare.

On the other hand, Sindhis, despite having a team loaded up with the all-rounders, managed to win only one of the three in the group stage. They went down against Shahzad blitz in the first game but came up with an easy 9-wicket win in the next match. The Sindhis allowed Pakhtoons score 137 in the final game with some sloppy bowling and fielding. Despite being 47/5 in 5th over, the Sindhis fought till the last moment losing only by eight runs.

Power Picks:

Nicholas Pooran, Shane Watson, Anton Devcich, Lendl Simmons, Rovman Powell, Thisara Perera, Ravi Bopara, Ben Cutting, Jofra Archer, Pravin Tambe, Hardus Viljoen.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

Both the multiplier options should be around Shane Watson, Nicholas Pooran and Anton Devich. Pooran has got the license to get going against any bowling attack early on while Watson and Devcich could be bowling a couple of overs at some stage.

Due to the high price tags of the players, only one among Lendl Simmons and Andre Russell can be picked in the playing XI. Simmons has got starts in all the games while Russell hasn’t been effective with the ball.
