The high-on-confidence Northern Warriors will face off against the Sindhis in the 16th match of the T10 League 2018. The Warriors have got one of the fiercest batting line-ups in the tournament. After an early jolt in the tournament, they went onto win the next two matches and finished at the top position in Group B. They will hope to carry the momentum forward into this match as well.

The Sindhis, on the other hand, have been slightly unfortunate thus far. They were blown away by Mohammad Shahzad in their opening encounter. The side lost yet another close game against the Pakhtoons by only eight runs which would have disappointed them. They will want to turn the tables around quickly as they have got some good players in their ranks.

Pitch and Conditions

The pitch has got a lot on offer for the batsmen even though there were quite a few games played at the venue without many breaks. The bowlers are slowly figuring out the better areas to hit which helps them restrict the scoring rates. With good bowlers and great hitters on either side, it should be an even contest. The weather is clear for the game with the temperature around 25 C.

Sindhis

The Sindhis have got a good two-day break and would have reworked their plans. They have got a great amount of depth in their batting lineup which assists while playing a team like the Warriors who have got a formidable top order. Their openers, Shane Watson and Anton Devcich will have to play with a lot more freedom and should be in the middle for at least the first four or five overs. They can be absolutely destructive once they get their eye in.

Northern Warriors

The Warriors’ top four is one of the fiercest ever. It is tough to get through these four given the kind of form that they are in. Ravi Bopara and Darren Sammy are there backing up in case there is a rare failure. With the ball, Hardus Viljoen has been the pick of all the bowlers. He is an absolute miser with great variations and is regularly amongst the wickets.
