Sindhis, who started the tournament in a disastrous way, bounced back with a thumping win over the defending champions of the T10 league. Mohammad Shahzad’s blitz helped Rajputs to chase down Sindhis’ total of 94/6 in only four overs. Pravin Tambe set up a big win with a hat-trick in the first over against Kerala Knights and ended up by bagging the first ever five-wicket haul of this tournament. They chased down the target of 104 in only 7.4 overs to improve their poor NRR.

Pakhtoons, on the other hand, started with a loss against Kerala as the opposition chased down 110 in only 7.5 overs. Batting second in the game against Rajputs, the Shahid Afridi-led side eased to a nine-wicket win. They first restricted the Rajputs to 121/3 who were racing at 70/1 after four overs. In the chase, Andre Fletcher’s unbeaten 27-ball 68 was clinical in the Pakhtoons to the target with two balls and nine wickets in hand.

The match starts at 6:30 PM local time (2:30 PM GMT) (8:00 PM IST).

Pitch Condition/Report:

The third day of the tournament showed what the batting first sides can do if they play freely. On a pitch and in a ground that helps the batsmen, they should be batting without having a target in their mind.

Squads:

Sindhis:

Shane Watson (C), Ahmed Raza, Jofra Archer, Ben Cutting, Anton Devcich, Fawad Ahmed, Ghulam Shabber, Ben Laughlin, Dawid Malan, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Nawaz, Thisara Perera, Denesh Ramdin, Samiullah Shinwari, Pravin Tambe, Isuru Udana.

Pakhtoons:

Shahid Afridi (C), Liam Dawson, Cameron Delport, Andrew Fletcher, Gulbadin Naib, Colin Ingram, Mohammad Irfan, Muhammad Kaleem, Shafiqullah Shafaq, Shapoor Zadran, Sharafuddin Ashraf, RP Singh, Sohail Khan, Chadwick Walton, David Willey.

Probable XI:

Sindhis:

Shane Watson (C), Dawid Malan, Anton Devcich, Denesh Ramdin, Ben Cutting, Jofra Archer, Thisara Perera, Mohammad Nawaz, Isuru Udana, Pravin Tambe, Ahmed Raza.

Pakhtoons:

Shahid Afridi (C), Cameron Delport, Andrew Fletcher, Shafiqullah Shafaq/Chadwick Walton, Colin Ingram, Liam Dawson, David Willey/RP Singh, Mohammad Irfan, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Sohail Khan.

Power Picks:

Sohail Khan has a good slower ball which could tempt the batsmen to hit which could result in a wicket. Isuru Udana of Sindhis has a mixture of slow balls and yorkers. His bowling angle also makes things tough for the batters.

Best Playing XI:

Shafiqullah Shafaq, Shane Watson, Anton Devcich, Cameron Delport, Andrew Fletcher, Shahid Afridi, Ben Cutting, Thisara Perera, Isuru Udana, Jofra Archer, Sohail Khan.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

Shane Watson and Anton Devcich will be a direct option for multipliers as both the all-rounders open the innings for the Sindhis. Cameron Delport and Andrew Fletcher can also be considered for multipliers as they open for the Pakhtoons.

Expert Advice:

After a decent knock in the previous game, Shafiqullah Shafaq could be retaining his place ahead of Chadwick Walton. The Afghanistan keeper-batsman struggled with the bat at the start of his innings but covered it up towards the end. David Willey might return to the playing XI in place of RP Singh.

Probable Winners:

Sindhis could have an upper hand over Pakhtoons due to a much better all-round team.
