Bhuvneshwar Kumar made an immediate difference to the Indian team during their limited-overs series against England. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Kumar led the attack well and picked up four wickets in the five T20Is. Later, he continued that form during the Sri Lanka series by picking five wickets in three T20I matches. Not only wickets, but he was always effective in keeping the opponents under a tight leash.

Kumar was next seen in the UAE leg of the IPL, and it is here that he has surprisingly been of color. During the four games for SRH, the right-arm pacer has only taken two wickets. He has hardly looked penetrating in the powerplays and death overs. With the upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled to begin soon, the Indian management would be hoping it is just a minor dip in form.
